The gorgeous Victorian seaside mansions began their lives in 1875, built by the Dukes of Beaufort, as a beachside retreat for his family. In the 70s, it became The Carlton Hotel, with the old Coach house becoming a beachside Italian Restaurant as part of the seaside Soho of Swansea. The former resident manager of the Carlton hotel told us that he was a Welsh Guard at Buckingham Palace and chief of staff of a General before his two-decades-long resident manager journey at the sea mansions.
In 2017, following three years of extensive renovation, designs and pre-opening preparation by the MAD Designer Stage – A leading British Design house, the Seaside Mansions were
restored to its original splendour and glory, and became The Music Fable Hotel, which is the first music & hi-end audio-themed hotel in the UK, with a non-trend led, timeless interior design woven different styling and eras into new tapestries, soon becoming a unique new landmark in the Swansea Bay, for film stars, musicians, producers, dignitaries, designers, global celebrities and creative entrepreneurs. Over the years, we continue to serve in ways that have made us the synonym for the top luxury boutique hotel.
